BBC's 'Mammals' nominated for 2024 Televisual Bulldog Award in the music category

Voting has now opened for the 20th annual Televisual Bulldog Awards that celebrates the very best of British television.

This year composer Thomas Farnon scored the music for the BBC’s six part nature series ‘Mammals' that premiered on 31st March 2024 on BBC One. The series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, offers fascinating insights into the most successful animal group in the world and has been nominated for a 2024 Televisual Bulldog Award in both the music and specialist factual categories.

The original television soundtrack album for the series was released in May this year and features selections of the show’s original music from sequences including the star-nosed mole from Water, the Austin bats from Dark and the Siberian flying squirrel from Forest. It also includes the main theme and is available to stream on all streaming platforms.

The awards are decided by an industry-wide vote and you can head to televisual-bulldogs.com to have your say.
