Chromium Music Group is delighted to have provided the music to the feature-length documentary ‘One Man and His Shoes’ (OMAHS). Premiering 25th May 2020 on VICE TV, the film follows the story of Michael Jordan and the phenomenon of his signature sneaker, the Nike Air Jordan. Using archive and animation, the film will explore the societal and political backdrop in which Jordan’s stratospheric rise took place, whilst shedding light on to the darker side of the success story when the high price tag and a low supply/high demand strategy fuelled violent attacks and even murder.
The CMG published score, which was composed by Thomas Farnon and Baba Adefuye, combines the world of modern classical with Hip hop and reflects both the emotional core of the film and the vibrant rise of a legendary brand.
